  Healthy pasta recipe - vegetarian Vegetable Pesto Pasta Ingredients: - 8 ounces of whole wheat pasta - 1 tablespoon of olive oil - 1 small onion, diced - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 2 cups of diced vegetables (such as bell peppers, zucchini, squash, and mushrooms) - 1/4 teaspoon of salt - 1/4 teaspoon of pepper - 1/4 cup of vegan pesto Instructions: 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. 2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
